My Foray into Journalism

screen capture of Albany Times Union article

Today’s an exciting day.  I was asked to write a column for the Albany Times Union newspaper on five of my pantry essentials.  A long time ago, a professor of mine instilled a very basic, but powerful concept:  when you write, write about what you know.  Words to live by!  So, this was easy to pen.

If you’re so inclined – pop over to the Times Union site and give it a read.  I’d love to hear your comments.

A great day for me is preparing great meals for friends and family. I enjoy experimenting with new ingredients and also updating classics that I've enjoyed for years. I love to travel and try lots of new cuisines - and wouldn't be anything without the love of my family!
